Privacy policy

Updated 5 October 2026. This policy describes the Sri Renuka Devi Chits member and administrator portal.

Information in your account

The portal stores customer names, contact details, approved login emails, chit enrollments, installment schedules, recorded payments, payout status, submitted payment screenshots and the history of administrator changes. Existing records may be entered by the administrator or imported from the business’s payment Sheet.

Google sign-in

When you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your name, email address and basic profile information, including your profile picture, with Supabase Authentication. The portal uses your verified email and account identifier to authenticate you and match your administrator-approved account. It does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files or Google Sheets.

How information is used and shared

Your information supports account access, contribution tracking, payment-proof review, receipts, payout records and account assistance. Administrators can manage the business’s records. Customers can view only their own records and enrolled chits. Daily unpaid-payment reports go to the configured administrators. Payment submission and review updates, confirmed-payment notices, payout/enrollment updates and account changes are emailed to the customer’s administrator-approved Google email. One consolidated overdue reminder is emailed daily while a past-due balance remains. Emails link to the private portal; screenshots and detailed statements are not attached. Contact the administrator to change the approved email or remove this access. An administrator can open WhatsApp with a prepared account-update message and choose whether to send it.

Supabase provides authentication, the database and private screenshot storage. Netlify hosts the portal. Google provides Google sign-in and the Apps Script email service. These services process information needed to operate those features, including authentication and operational logs. This portal has no advertising or data-sale feature.

Session cookies and screenshots

Essential cookies maintain your login and complete Google sign-in. Payment screenshots are stored privately and opened through authorized, temporary links. Submit proof relevant to the installment you are paying.

Your choices and requests

Contact the administrator to correct your details, request a copy of your records, remove an approved Google email or request account/data removal. Financial entries and their corrections are maintained in the ledger history; signing out or removing Google approval does not delete them. You can also manage the Google connection in your Google Account settings.
